Visual Launguage - Studio Brief 1 - Set, Series, Sequence - Ree Tweweek

 I chose to look at this artist because I enjoy the sense of fantasy that she captures in her illustrations. You can clearly see the detail and extensive work that has gone into her drawings, and you can almost see the images come to life and imagine them being animated. She is an avid practitioner that creates work that evokes a sense of wonder.

She said that her ideas come as soon as "the ink begins flowing on paper". This spontaneous way of creating drawings is a good way of accumilating ideas and concepts in a quick and expressive way. I tend to us this technique when creating concepts. I like to start drawing and see where it takes me.
